Ck53 / Cf53 Chrome Vanadium Alloy is the chrome alloy most commonly used for hardened precision ground shafting. It is a
high strength steel used for linear bearing shafting due to it's ability to be hardened and ground to very smooth finishes.
This alloy is not corrosion resistant.
